O God, the nations have come into Thy heritage; they have defiled Thy holy sanctuary; they have made Jerusalem a heap of ruins.

The dead bodies of thy servants thou hast given as food to the birds of the heavens, the flesh of thy holy ones to the beasts of the earth.

Their blood flowed like water round about Jerusalem, and there was none to inter them.

We have become a byword to our neighbors, a taunt and ridicule to those who surround us.

є҃. Доко́лѣ, гдⷭ҇и, прогнѣ́ваешисѧ до конца̀; разжже́тсѧ ꙗ҆́кѡ ѻ҆́гнь рве́нїе твоѐ;
How long, Lord? will you be angry forever? Shall your zeal kindle like fire?

Pour out thy wrath upon nations that have not known thee, and upon kingdoms that have not invoked thy name.

For they have consumed Jacob, and made his habitation desolate.

O do not remember our ancient transgressions too quickly; hasten, O Thy mercies to prevent us, for we have fallen exceedingly.

Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name; and deliver us, and purify our sins, for thy name's sake.

‹. Wherefore, let not the Gentiles say, Where is their God? but let it be known among the Gentiles in our sight by the avenging of the blood of Thy servants that has been shed.

Let the sighing of the prisoners come before thee; according to the greatness of thy mighty arm preserve thou the sons of the slain.

Render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, with which they have reproached thee, O Lord.

We, thy people and flock of thy pasture, shall give thee thanks for ages upon ages; we will proclaim thy praise from generation to generation.

At the end, having changed, the vision of Asaph,alomah O Soul/Spirit.

Hear, O Shepherd of Israel, who dost lead Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubim, shine forth.

Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh arise thy power and come unto our salvation.

O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt Thou be angry with us? Return and let Thy face shine, and we shall be saved.

є҃. Гдⷭ҇и бж҃е си́лъ, доко́лѣ гнѣ́ваешисѧ на моли́твꙋ ра̑бъ твои́хъ;
Lord, God of powers, until when wilt thou be angry with the prayer of thy servant?

Thou hast filled us with tears as with bread, and hast made us drink our fill of tears.

Turn us then unto the dispute with our neighbors, for our enemies have taunted us.

Lord, God of powers, turn us again, and show thy face, and we shall be saved. Psalm.

Thou hast transplanted a vine from Egypt, expelling nations, and rooted it therein.

‹. Thou hast covered her with thy shadow before; the branches thereof reached unto the heavens, and were seen of all the Gentiles.

Her shadow covered the mountains, and her boughs reached to the cedar of God.

Why hast Thou broken down her hedges, that every passerby plucketh her?

г҃і. Вскꙋ́ю низложи́лъ є҆сѝ ѡ҆пло́тъ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ ѡ҆б̾има́ютъ и҆̀ всѝ мимоходѧ́щїи пꙋте́мъ;
That thou mightest destroy its fence, that all who go by the way might trample it.

O God of powers, turn again, look down from heaven and see, and visit this vineyard.

And thou hast perfected her whom thy right hand hath planted, and upon the son of man whom thou hast strengthened for thyself.
