1. God, our Savior, do not hide from me the secret of the ways of Your salvation.
2. Lord, I am weak. You know this. With fear I seek ways to You.
Don't despise me; do not depart from me in my fall; come closer to me, insignificant but thirsty. Dwell in me and You Yourself do in me everything that You commanded us; make me Yours forever and ever in unshakable love.
3. In difficult times of failure in all my efforts to harmonize my life manifestations with the teaching of the gospel, I used to pray like this:
“Come, and You Yourself do Thy will in Me: Your commandments do not fit into my narrow heart, and my cramped mind does not comprehend their content... If You do not wish to move inside me, then I will inevitably go into darkness... You, I know, do not act with violence, but I pray to You: enter my house with authority and regenerate all of me - turn the hellish darkness of my pride into Your humble love; Transform my perverted nature with light, so that not a single passion remains in me that could hinder the coming of Your Father with You (cf. John 14:21-23); create from me the abode of that holy life, which You Yourself allowed me to partially see... Yes, Lord, I beg You, do not deprive me of this sign of Your goodness.”
