(July 13)
Oh, Mother of God, once upon a time, due to the invasion of non-believing Suevians, our former Fatherland was in great trouble, You showed your all-powerful intercession by glorifying Your all-honorable image in the land of the North, called Balykinsky, and with the tears visible on him, Your eyes begged Your Son and our God to grant the Orthodox Christians a glorious victory and victory over their adversaries. You, Most Merciful Mother, and in the past days in the city of Orel, before Your Most Pure Image, you granted healing to a girl suffering from an unclean spirit, returning her health and unharmed.
You, the ambulance helper in human troubles, heard the cry of the child’s mother, suddenly falling from the height of her home, and restored her healthy and harmless. You, an inexhaustible source of miracles and generosity, brought to Your wondrous image, deigned to grant a greatly weakened young woman a quick healing, strengthening her mold to the desired walking. You, the omnipotent Queen of heaven and earth, raised up babies from an incurable illness, and their parents came to You with faith and love.
You, Giver of peace to our souls, delivered the young man from ferocious passions and turned his evil nature to good behavior and obedience to his parents. You endlessly poured out streams of Your mercy on everyone who flowed to Your most holy image in spiritual sorrows, physical illnesses and everyday misfortunes. Consider, O All-Blessed One, and to our present fervent prayer: direct the paths of our earthly journey towards a peaceful and beneficial life, decorate our life with good customs, protect by Your omnipotent hand, from the mouth of false teachers, rising up against the Mind of God, corrupting the customs of our Orthodox ancestors and corrupting the minds and hearts of our young children, grant us in everything days of our life to have purity of thoughts and heart movements. Yourself, O All-Singing One, intercede and save the image of our destinies and lead us into the joyful abodes of Your Son and our God. Amen.
