Master, Lover of Mankind, Heavenly King, Lord Jesus Christ, our God! Hear us sinners praying to you, and have mercy, and grant us this righteous saint of yours, Athanasius, to glorify and call for help, to worship his holy image and to fall at his holy tomb with faith. O marvelous in miracles, holy and righteous Athanasius! Pray to Christ God and us sinners, and have mercy on all those who come and call for help in sorrows, and be our helper and healer quickly, and grant us abundant health and abundant help: be a mentor to orphans and widows, and grant to everyone even petitions for salvation, save and keep from all evils and diseases and the slander of the enemy: and so standing before the throne of the Lord, pray unceasingly for us sinners, Christ our God. For to Him belongs all glory, honor and worship and splendor, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
