O great servant of God and God-accepting Simeon! Hear us sinners, praying to you and falling to your holy icon and for the multitude of our sins, do not take away your holy cover from the monastery, in which this holy and miraculous icon of yours has been glorified since ancient times with many signs and miracles, but keep it firm and unshakable from all enemies, visible and invisible, and from all misfortunes and troubles, keep me unharmed. Be a good helper to all who live piously and work well in it, and deliver us from illness and famine, from drowning and fire, from sudden death and deadly ulcers and from all evil. Drive away from us the destructive mental wolf, seeking to devour and drive our souls to hell, protect us from worldly temptations and seductions and from vain and soul-harming thoughts. Strengthen our hearts in humility, meekness, obedience, silence, abstinence, patience, unforgettable malice and love, even in Christ Jesus our Lord, and in all deeds, strengthen the monastics and their efforts.

God forbid, as a good shepherd, for the pastures of Christ in the world all the verbal sheep of Christ, gathered in your courtyard, for having lived piously in your monastery on earth, we will depart in peace to the monasteries of the Heavenly Kingdom, where the host of the righteous and saints are with you unceasingly glorify the most holy and blessed name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
