O glorious servant of the Lord and God of the flock of Christ gathered here for you, kind shepherd and mentor, venerable and God-bearing Father Ephraim! Accept this poor and small prayer of ours, brought to you from the love of our souls, and do not despise us sinners who require your help and intercession. Behold, we, the representative of you in the needs of the shameless one who has acquired, with undoubted faith we call on you to intercede: you, as you have great boldness towards the Lord and His Most Pure Mother, be a prayer book, and a helper and intercessor for everyone, with diligence in your Divine church those who come and touch your holy and multi-healing relics with fear and reverence. Hear us, Holiness of God, and look with your merciful eye on the people standing before your celibate tomb. We know, truly, that even though after your departure you were separated from us in the flesh, you remained with us in spirit: in the same way, everything that is useful to us for salvation, to those who earnestly ask, you can give through your prayers.

Stretch out your reverend hands, O good and great intercessor, and do not cease to pray for the power of our most pious and great sovereign, Emperor Nikolai Alexandrovich, Autocrat of All-Russia, and for the entire reigning house, for the Most Holy Governing Synod, and for our Most Reverend Bishop named, and for all in every place it is pious to call for your help. Save the reigning cities, and this city, and this holy monastery, and all the cities and countries of Russia from the invasion of foreigners, internecine warfare, corrupting winds and from all destructive evil. The patrons of this holy monastery, and all those who dwell and work in it and piously flow to your honorable relics, visit, observe and deliver from all troubles and sorrows, as if you are governed by many rebellious things of little time Having sailed safely through this sea of life, we will reach the desired Heavenly Refuge, and glorify the All-Holy, Equally Honorable and Consubstantial Trinity, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages.
