O all-praised and all-honorable bishop, saint of Christ, venerable and God-bearing Father Simon! Look down from the heights of heaven, where with the Angels and all the saints you stand before the Lord of glory, who are unworthy and prostrate, humble and sinners, flowing to your powerful intercession with faith, love and hope. Extend your venerable hand in prayer to the Lord and Master, and ask from His generous goodness and forgiveness of our sins, voluntary and involuntary, mental and physical health, a peaceful and serene life, goodness of the air, fruitfulness of the earth, everyday needs contentment, good haste in everything, and let us not turn the good things given to us into evil, but into the glory of His most holy name and our salvation.
We also earnestly pray to you: strive, O merciful one, to intercede with the Lord, the Lover of Mankind, that He may deliver us, according to His great mercy, from all troubles and sorrows, from all ailments and illnesses, from sudden death and from all bitterness, from all the machinations of enemies visible and invisible and from all evil: may He strengthen in us the right faith and piety unfeigned, and may he give us strength to overcome our passions and lusts: may he keep us from the ungodly and soul-destructive teachings of unbelief and superstition, may he implant in our hearts the spirit of humility and meekness, the spirit of brotherly love and kindness, the spirit of patience and chastity, the spirit of holy zeal for the glory of God and the salvation of our neighbors: may he look upon mercy to every soul that requires His grace-filled mercy, and may He grant, according to the ineffable generosity of His love for mankind, healing to the sick, consolation to the grieving, affirmation to the youthful, approval to the despondent, help to the weak, to the needy, protection to the orphans, shelter to the homeless, protection to the offended, patience to the slandered, generosity to the downtrodden, intercession for the persecuted, justification for the slandered, and for all, in all kinds of need and suffering, spiritual consolation and speedy deliverance.
To her, Holiness of God, be a warm prayer book and a diligent intercessor to the Lord for every soul of the faithful who seek your help, so that no one in their trust in you will be put to shame, but may all, through your intercession, find in all circumstances the grace and mercy of the All-Merciful God, to Him belongs all glory and honor and worship, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
