Most wise and most beautiful saint of the Great Martyr of Christ Varvaro! Blessed are you, for God’s finest flesh and blood has not been revealed to you, but God the Heavenly Father Himself, like you, for the sake of faith from an unfaithful father, forsaken, expelled and killed, has received into His beloved daughter: for the perishable inheritance of earthly possessions, the gift of incorruptibility to the flesh: labors crown the martyr with repose in the Kingdom of Heaven: glorify your temporary life, cut short by His death for His sake, with calico honor, as the soul from the faces of the heavenly ranks of spirits, but the body placed on earth in their angelic church, by the Angel of the commandment to keep intact, honest and wonderful. Blessed art thou, Christ the Son of God, the Heavenly Bridegroom, an unconvinced virgin, Whose goodness is thy zealot, desiring, all through suffering, wounds, pleasure by cutting and the very heads by cutting off, like the most precious utensils You tried to decorate: yes, because a wife is faithful to her head, the Husband Christ, you are inseparably united in spirit and body, saying: I found Him, whom my soul loved, I held Him, and did not forsake Him.

Blessed are you, for the Holy Spirit has rested upon you, having been taught to reason spiritually by the spiritual, and you have rejected all the spirits of wickedness in idols, as if they were destructive, and having come to know the One God the Spirit, as a true worshiper, You deigned to bow down in spirit and in truth, preaching: I honor the Trinity, One Divinity. For this Holy Trinity, which thou hast glorified in life and death by thy confession and suffering, begging for me, my intercessor, as I am always threefold, of faith, love and hope, herewith I honor the Holy Trinity as virtue. Imam is the lamp of faith, but the oil of good deeds is empty: you, wise virgin, your suffering flesh, filled with blood and overflowing with wounds, like a lamp of yours, give from your oil, so that by decorating my soul, I will be worthy to enter into the palace for you heavenly.

I am a sojourner on earth and a sojourner, like all my fathers: for you, blessed are the eternal heirs and a blessed meal in the Kingdom of Heaven, a partaker, as in the pilgrimage of life, the meal of Divine treats, here and in the exodus from the world, Grant me the desired admonition: and when, at the end, I begin to fall asleep in the sleep of death, make me, so that by the grace of the Divine Body and Blood of the Mysteries, strengthened, I will walk in the fortress of my soul the long path of death, even to the mountain of heaven: and there You are through three windows Having first been bathed by faith, you have seen the Trinity of God, together with you face to face, so that I may be worthy to see and glorify Him forever and ever.
