Incomprehensible and All-Sung by the Wisdom of God, that is, the Only Begotten Son and Word of God! Receive this prayer song from our unworthy and vile lips, even if there is no red song in the mouths of sinners. Moreover, just as the thief was saved with a single word, and the publican was justified with a sigh, and the daughter of Canaan was healed with a mother’s petition: so now he is merciful to our prayers. Because You, O Lord, are Good and Lover of mankind, You enlighten those who come into the world, and forgive the sins of sinners, and fill the foolish with reason, and make wise, and thirsty souls for good words with Your teaching, just as You gave the Samaritan the water of life, and fornicators are chaste. If you establish it, you will open paradise to the thief.
For You are truly the Giver and Instructor of all good things, and the Preserver of life, Christ our God, and to You we send glory and praise, honor and thanksgiving and glorification, and we do worship, with Your Beginning Father, and with the Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, and with Your Most Holy and Immaculate Matter, the Lady our Mother of God and Ever-Virgin Mary, with all Your saints, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
