O sacred head, earthly angel, heavenly man, great miracle worker, Rev. Father Cornelius! Today we earnestly resort to you with faith and love, we tenderly ask you, our heavenly representative: to show us the humble and sinners your fatherly love and your many-powerful intercession: behold, sin for our sakes, we do not dare with the freedom of the children of God to ask the Lord and our Master for the things we need, but for you a prayer book to Him We offer favorable things, with faith and without a doubt, as if we could ask for all good things from His goodness. So ask us, servants of God, from the All-Generous and Lover of God, right faith, unshakable piety, perfect repentance, correction of life, and so on. Let us not anger the Lord by violating His holy commandments, but let us be honored to receive forgiveness of our sins from Him.
Pray, miracle-working saint, the King of kings and the Lord of lords to grant peace and prosperity to our all-Russian kingdom, and health, salvation and victory over our enemies to our most pious, autocratic, great sovereign, Emperor Nikolai Alexandrovich, for let all who oppose him know, for God and His saints are with us. Save, O Holy One of God, with your prayers the Church of Christ from heresies and schisms, superstition and unbelief of man, may holy Orthodoxy and piety bloom in it. Keep your created abode, and all who live and labor in it according to your charter, from all evil, so that they may remain safe and sound from the temptations of the enemy of human salvation. Look mercifully at the coming race of your relics and praying people, and fulfill all their requests for good: healing to the sick, consolation to the grieving, help to the needy quickly.
For all of us, spiritual and physical health, fruitfulness of the earth, a quiet and God-pleasing life, a good Christian death and a good answer at the Last Judgment of Christ from the All-Merciful God, as you truly have the great boldness to do so. Hey, father! We know that your prayer can do much before the face of the Almighty Lord: for this reason we firmly trust in you, and we strongly hope in your holy prayers, as if you, through your intercession, will lead us into the calm haven of salvation and show us heirs of the all-bright Kingdom of Christ. Do not disgrace, Reverend Our Father, our hope, but grant us, together with you, the bliss of heaven, let us glorify, praise and magnify the great mercy towards us of the Lover of God, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and your good fatherly intercession, forever and ever.
