O sacred head, reverend father, blessed Cornelius! We glorify you and magnify you, we sinners, as our hope, the source of miracles and a great intercessor for people, and we humbly pray to you: do not remain silent when we cry to the Lord for us, and do not despise us, who honor your holy memory with faith and love. Remember at the throne of the Almighty all the benefactors of your abode, and do not cease to pray to Christ God to grant them serenity and peace, an abundance of earthly fruits and good air: we know that the prayer of the righteous can greatly promote good. O extraordinary servant of God, our invincible intercessor! Just as you previously nourished many people in your monastery during small feasts, today be a nourisher for the hungry, a helper for the poor, a comforter for the sorrowful, a doctor for the weak, a strengthener for the old, a mentor for the young: and so, more holy than God, open the door of God’s mercy to all people.
Even if we are not worthy to see the heights of heaven from the multitude of our untruths, but by your mercy and prayer save us from all evil and evil circumstances: help us, so that we do not perish with our iniquities, and ask us time for repentance, in order to avoid the wrath of God and eternal torment: grant us everything that leads to salvation petition, for through your intercession and intercession of the Most Holy Lady Theotokos, and through His mercy and goodness, Christ our God will grant all of us heirs of the Heavenly Kingdom to be and glorify Him, with the Beginningless Father and the Most Holy Spirit, forever and ever.
