O God-chosen wonderworker, glorious servant of Christ, champion of the Orthodox Church, defender of the Russian Kingdom, Grand Duke George! We earnestly pray to you, look upon us sinners who are resorting to your intercession: hear this little prayer of ours, and with your warm intercession we implore the merciful God, Who stands before Him from the face of the Angel and with all the saints, may he preserve us in unity of the Orthodox Church, and will confirm in our hearts the spirit of right faith and piety, and will deliver us from every evil temptation. According to the greatness of your love, you loved your neighbor, asking from the all-generous Lord for peace and prosperity for our fatherland, for our most pious sovereign Emperor Nikolai Alexandrovich and for the entire reigning house health, prosperity and longevity, for all of us unworthy, zealously for you for those who fall, a godly and serene life. O our holy intercessor!
do not leave us weak and helpless: pray for us to the Lord and the Most Pure Lady Theotokos, move with you to pray for us your God-glorified relatives, holy princes Andrea and Gleba, together with them Here you rest with incorruptible relics and stand in heaven at the throne of the Heavenly King, may He grant us all that we need for temporal and eternal benefit, and may He not reward us according to our deeds, but may He forgive our sins according to His ineffable love for mankind, and He will deliver us from all need and sorrow, sorrow and illness: may he bestow upon us good intentions and the strength to strive to correct our lives, and in the future may he vouchsafe us to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and glorify the all-holy name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
