O Master, Jesus Christ, our God, who didst not withhold Thy ineffable love for man, but wast born of the Holy Virgin in a lowly body from the pure union with the Spirit! We glorify Thee, O Lord, for Thou hast revealed to us by Thy servant: we praise Thee, because Thou didst come into this world for our salvation; we kiss Thy holy Mother, who served so mysteriously and fearfully as a vessel of Thy greatness; we extol Thy angelic beauty, as Thou art the singer and minister of Thy majesty; we bless John, who baptized Thee, O Lord: we honor and proclaim the prophets who foretold Thee; we glorify Thy apostles; we rejoice in Thy martyrs, and we venerate Thy venerable ones, and we celebrate all Thy servants. Thus, with all this multitude and ineffable glory of divine worship, we come before Thee, O Lord, our God, with heartfelt prayers: therefore, grant us forgiveness for our transgressions, more abundantly than the number of Thy saints, and richer than their mercies: for Thou art blessed to the ages. Amen.
