O Master, Jesus Christ, our God, who didst deign to become incarnate for the sake of Thy wondrous love to man at the end of the ages in a lowly body from the pure womb of Theotokos! We glorify Thee, O Lord, for Thou hast revealed unto us by Thy servant: we praise Thee, because Thou didst come into the world for our salvation; we kiss Thy holy and terrible Mother, such as served the mystery of Thy glory more fearfully than any secret. We extol Thy angelic beauty, for Thou art hymn-singers and ministers of Thy majesty; we bless John, who baptized Thee, O Lord: we honor and proclaim the prophets who foretold Thee; we glorify Thy apostles; we rejoice with the martyrs, and we venerate Thy venerable ones, and we celebrate all Thy servants. Thus, bringing to Thee all this multitude of inexpressible glory in prayer, we beseech Thee for our sins: grant us, O Lord, more abundantly than our merits deserve, Thy mercies and the riches of Thy compassion; for Thou art blessed unto ages of ages. Amen.
