At every hour and in every moment, on high and on earth, we bow down and glorify Jesus Christ, long-suffering, full of mercy, full of compassion, righteous to those who love, merciful to sinners, calling all to salvation for the promise of future good: Thou, O Lord, hear our prayer at this present time; sanctify our souls, cleanse our bodies, correct our thoughts, purify our minds, and deliver us from every kind of sorrow and sickness: guard us with thy holy angels, that by their intercession we may be kept and instructed, to attain in unity of faith, and in the understanding of thy ineffable glory: for thou art blessed for ever and ever. Most glorious Cherubim, and most renowned Seraphim, we magnify thy unflappable words of God's birth, O Theotokos, who art truly glorified.

O Master, Lord Jesus Christ, our God, long-suffering toward our transgressions, and even to this day bring us, hanging upon the life-giving wood, upon Him, the righteous robber, whom Thou didst lead into Paradise, and by death didst destroy death itself, and cleansed us, O sinful and unworthy servants. For we have sinned and transgressed the law, and are not worthy to behold Thy glory or gaze upon the heavenly heights: for we left the way of Thy righteousness and walked in the willfulness of our hearts. But we beseech Thee, O boundless in mercy, forgive us, Lord Jesus Christ, according to the multitude of Thy mercies; save us and grant us remission of our sins through Thine holy name, for our days have vanished into vanity, and Thou hast taken us from the hands of our adversaries, and left upon us our sinfulness, and made our fleshly understanding dead. That we may put off the old man with its deeds and put on the new man: and in Thee shall we live, O Lord, our God, as a benefactor, according to Thy last commandment, that we may attain unto eternal rest, where is the abode of all who rejoice; for Thou art indeed the true joy and gladness of them that love Thee, O our God. To Thee do we send forth glory, with Thine unbeginning Father and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and to ages of ages. Amen.
