With the holy rest, O Soul of Thy servants,
where there is no sickness, nor sorrow,
nor sighing,
but an endless life.

Through all times and every hour, on earth and in heaven, we bow down and glorify Jesus Christ, long-suffering, full of mercy, rich in compassion, righteous to those who love, merciful to sinners, calling all to salvation for the promise of future good: Thou, O Lord, hear our prayer at this present time; sanctify our souls, cleanse our bodies, correct our thoughts, purify our minds, and deliver us from every tribulation and sickness. Guard us with thy holy angels: that by their intercession and teaching we may attain to the unity of faith, and to the understanding of thy ineffable glory: for thou art blessed for ever and ever, Amen.

Чⷭ҇тнѣ́йшꙋю херꙋв‡мъ, и҆ сла́внѣйшꙋю без̾ сравне́нїѧ сераф‡мъ, без̾ и҆стлѣ́нїѧ бг҃а сло́ва ро́ждшꙋю, сꙋ́щꙋю бцⷣꙋ тѧ̀ велича́емъ.
Most glorious Cherubim, and most renowned Seraphim, we magnify thy unflappable words of God's glory, O Theotokos, that gave birth thereto, being in very truth thine.

O Master, Lord Jesus Christ, our God, long-suffering toward our transgressions, and even until this present hour leading us, in which we hang upon the life-giving wood, on the wretched robber, whom Thou didst transform into a righteous thief, and by death didst destroy death, cleansing us, O sinful and unworthy servants. For we have sinned and transgressed the law, and are not worthy to behold Thy glory or gaze upon the heavenly heights: for we left the way of Thy righteousness and walked in the desires of our hearts. But we beseech Thee, O boundless mercy, have pity on us, Lord, according to the abundance of Thy mercy, and save us by Thy name, for the sake of Thine saints; for our days have vanished in vain, Thou hast changed us from the hands of our adversaries, and left us our sins, and made our fleshly understanding dead, that we may put off the old man with its deeds and be clothed with the new. And by Thee shall we live in Thy right hand, O Giver of good pleasure, and following Thy commandment, attain to eternal rest, where is the dwelling-place of all who rejoice; for Thou art indeed the true joy and gladness of them that love Thee, our God Jesus Christ. To Thee do we send forth glory, with Thy unbeginning Father and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
