Behold, now, as the mortal west has carnally entered the grave for a time, your souls remain with Christ, the Sun of righteousness, and being the righteous [righteous], you are enlightened like the sun in the Kingdom of Heaven. There, then, your prayers to God light spread out the rays of the entire universe, do not forget we, your dear prayer books, even in the night of passions and sorrows, behold the light of grace from above: for in the light of your virtuous life, walking the right, we will be worthy to see the light the unapproachable glory of God, praising Him together with you forever and ever.
