O great miracle worker, holy righteous Procopius! Hear me, a sinner, praying to you and calling on your holy name. See me poor, in the capital's misfortune; see me weak, caught from everywhere and deprived of every good and my mind darkened from cowardice. Strive, holy of God, to free me captive: do not leave me a sinful enemy in the joy of being and dying in my evil deeds. Pray for me, unworthy of my Creator and Master, to whom you stand with your disembodied faces: be merciful to me, my God in the present world and in the future, that He may not repay me according to my evil deeds and the impurity of my heart, but may He reward me according to His goodness. I trust in your intercession, and I boast in you, and I call on your holy name for help, and falling to your whole-bearing tomb, I ask for help. Deliver me, O saint of Christ, from the evils that come upon me, and subdue the waves that rise against me from everywhere, so that they may not attack me to the end, and may I not sink into the abyss of sin and in the mud of my passions.
Pray, holy and righteous Procopius, Christ our God, to grant me great sinner mercy, that I may glorify the great name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages.
