The book of your words gives the living nectar of incorruptibility to the faithful, O Theologian, for the Comforter of the Church through you speaks and proclaims, and awakens all the cries of thee, Simeon, sifted:
Rejoice, glory to the Church;
Rejoice, branch of God.
Rejoice, cleanse spiritual defilement;
Rejoice, enlighten our thoughts.
Rejoice, flame, consuming the thorns of passions;
Rejoice, mind, open, clever one, and in vain.
Rejoice, for you have been released from the substance of the captives;
Rejoice, for you are filled with flowing waters.
Rejoice, beholden to God's radiance;
Rejoice, hate the enemy of malice.
Rejoice, flood of wisdom teachings;
Rejoice, harp of honest gifts.
Rejoice, like Simeon, the light of the Divine Mystery.
