Have your heart set on fire by the fear of God, you have passed unwaveringly through the life of an angel, and even in it there is grace, as you are enlightened by the Spirit, O Nicodemus, explaining to those who call:
Rejoice, pillar of abstinence;
Rejoice, mystery of dispassion.
Rejoice, having raised your mind to heaven;
Rejoice, thou who obtained from there the unspeakable one.
Rejoice, light-shaped house of Spiritual grace;
Rejoice, valuable village of virtuous people.
Rejoice, for you flow from rivers of teachings;
Rejoice, for you have dried up the streams of passions.
Rejoice, enriched with the radiance of Christ;
Rejoice, slain exaltation of the enemy.
Rejoice, harp of soul-nourishing verbs;
Rejoice, song of the godly wise woman.
Rejoice, Father Nicodemus, Holy Mountains, glorious decoration.
