Response: The Theotokos, save us.

Death and corruption are nought but the giving of death by God Himself, through corruption and death my own nature which was twofold; pray to Thee, O Lord and God, and to Thy holy Theotokos, that Thou mayest deliver me from the devices of my enemies.

Response: The Theotokos, save us.

O Guardian of the life eternal, and Protector of the firmament of Thy creation, and Judge of the storms of temptation, and Burner up of the taxes of the wicked one, ever I beseech Thee, deliver me from the passions of my soul.

Pripev: Preshta Theotokos, spasynas.

O Soul/Spirit, we have leaned upon the wall of thy sanctuary, and the perfect salvation of thy soul, and the spaciousness in sorrows, O Maiden, and by thy illumination we rejoice evermore: Lady, now save us from passions and calamities.

Response: The Theotokos, save us.

On the bed now lying weak, and there is no healing of my flesh: but God and Saviour of the world, and Healer of those born in sickness, to Thee I pray, good Lady: from sickness raise me up.
