O most honorable and grace-filled head of the Holy Spirit, chosen vessel of the Holy Trinity, Reverend Our Father Cyril! Hear us sinners, who now stand before your honest shrine and tenderly pray to you. Pray for us to the All-Merciful Lady Jesus Christ, our God, and to the Mother who gave birth to Him, our Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, to forgive us the sins we have committed. For we know, our Father, that even though you rest in the flesh and in the dust, yet in spirit you are here with us relentlessly, invisibly, watching over this holy abode of yours, and according to your false promise, edifying this, you preserve it from all circumstances.
And just as you have acquired much boldness towards the Lord through your fasting deeds, beg Him with your holy prayers to give peace, to the Church of His saints, unanimity, to our most pious sovereign, Emperor Nikolai Alexandrovich, for victory against the enemy, who here serve each other with love and harmony: and to all people with by faith flowing to you, asking the Lord for all that is needed for the benefit of soul and body, so that we may all be delivered on the day of judgment from the terrible part, and stand at the right hand with His chosen ones to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. For to Him belongs all glory, honor and worship, with His Beginningless Father, and with His Most Holy and Good and Life-Giving Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
