O Most Holy Lady Theotokos, Queen of heaven and earth! Look upon us, Thy sinful and unworthy servants, and pray to Thy Son, Christ our God, to protect us from above with His power, so that we may be forever preserved from all the temptations of the enemy and the charms of demons. You, O All-Merciful Lady Virgin Mother of God, as in ancient times, You astonished the entire Russian country with the glorious walk of Your most venerable icon in the air with the Eternal Child and the visit of that holy city of Tikhfin, but you magnified this place, a deserted existence, with your true self-procession and your most wonderful appearance with St. Nicholas Thou art: even now, O All-Blessed Mother of the Most High God, cover us with Thy all-good cover, making us worthy of Thy invisible grace.
And also in ancient times, in this God-chosen desert place, you deigned to see the divine image of your indescribable radiance, a god-pleasing and reverent man, and you mercifully exclaimed to him: so now are your merciful eyes, O All-Sung Mother of God, with your usual love for us and for all those who earnestly pray Having looked upon You and those who tenderly ask for Your all-powerful help and intercession, be the All-Good Intercessor for the salvation of our souls and bodies before the throne of Your Son and our God. Save then, O Most Holy Virgin Mother of God, our blessed emperor, this monastery and the entire Christian race and all who come with faith and worship the most pure icon of Your appearance, glorifying the Most Holy Trinity, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and honoring Your merciful intercession with Saint Nicholas, now and ever and forever and ever.
