Commanded by the hidden mystery, received in the understanding, and through the blood of Iosif with eager longing before the formless, one speaks most unassailable: Bowing down with the descent of heaven, He remains immutable in thee. And having seen Him in thy bridal chambers, the servant's eyes trembling, cried out to Thee: Rejoice, bride who art not a bride.

Rejoice, O Bridegroom without a Bride.

Angel of the presence, sent from heaven, said to her with a voice without body: Rejoice! And with a voice ineffable, thou hast seen the Lord, being amazed and standing, calling her thusly:

Rejoice, wherein the oath shall vanish.

Rejoice, O weepers saved from tears.

Rejoice, O Heart of the Incarnate Lord.

Rejoice, O Soul, for the creation is renewed:

Rejoice, wherein we bow down to the Creator.

Rejoice, thou that art not yet wedded.

Seeing thy holy self in this, Gabriel speaketh with boldness: the glorious sound of thy voice worketh not pleasingly in my soul: for without seed wast thou conceived, as thou hast said, calling: Hail, full of grace.

O Lord, who can understand the ununderstandable reason? Let those seeking two things cry to the ministering ones: "From the pure mouth, as it is, let there come mightily to tell us;" and He answered with fear, saying thus: "Pray ye likewise."

Power from on high then descended upon the deceit of unlawful union, and upon that false bed brought forth fruitfulness, for it showed sweetly to all who desired to reap salvation, when singing thus: Glory be to Thee.

I enter into Thy thought of doubting, the wise one Isaac was comforted by Thee, Thou gavest me a virgin marriage, and unspotted I am: but concerning Thy conception with the holy Spirit, You say: Glorify Me.

Hearken, all-holy Theotokos, preconsecrated by God, Lady of the Master, receive these thy holy gifts, offered by us unworthy servants, chosen from all peoples and tribes, both heavenly and earthly. For thou hast given us strength with thee, and through thee we have known the Lord's presence, and have partaken of his sacred body and precious blood. Therefore blessed art thou among women, O most pure, brighter than cherubim and more glorious than seraphim. And now, O all-holy Theotokos, though thou hast ascended to thy throne, do not cease to pray for us thy unworthy servants, that we may be delivered from every counsel of the wicked and every temptation, and preserved unharmed from every evil influence of the devil. But even unto the end, keep us under thy unsullied prayers: for by thy intercession and help we are saved; glory, praise, thanksgiving and worship we offer to thee in unity with the Father and all Creator, now and ever and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Glory to Thee, O Lady Theotokos! Higher than all the angels and archangels, mightier than all created things, Thou art helper of the faithful, comforter of the despairing, advocate before God, solace of the sorrowful, sustainer of the hungry, giver of clothing to the naked, healer of the sick, savior of sinners, helper and intercessor for all. Through Thee, O Lady Theotokos, we venerate Thee as Queen! By Thy mercy, save us, venerable Patriarchs of the Orthodox Church, archbishops, bishops, and all clergy, and all Orthodox Christians with Thy garment of protection: pray for us, O Lady Theotokos, that Thou mayest cause to be born without seed Jesus Christ our God, that by Thine power Thou mayest deliver us from both visible and invisible enemies. Through Thee, O Lady Theotokos, Queen, raise us out of the depths of sin, save us from hunger, destruction, fear, flood, fire, sword, encounter with strangers and mutual strife, from vain death, from attack by enemies, from destructive winds, from deadly stars, and from every evil. Grant peace and health to Thy servants, all Orthodox Christians, enlighten them in heart: that they may be led to salvation. And make us, O sinful servants of Thine, worthy again to receive the Theotokos, the bearer of God our Savior: as His kingdom is blessed and glorified with His Father, from beginningless time, and on high, and goodly, and life-giving house, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
