Evening Prayer of our Supplication, receive, O Holy Lord, and grant unto us forgiveness of sins, for Thou alone art the Resurrection in the world.

Blest ye the people of His day, and forgive him, and give glory to Him who rose from the dead: For He is our God, and deliver us from our lawlessnesses.

Come ye people, let us take and worship Jesus Christ, praising Him and His resurrection from the dead: For He is our God, deliverer from the deceit of this world.

Rejoice in the heavens, O earth, be glad and blossom: for Emmanuel hath taken our sin upon the cross, and giving life, hath made death to have no power, raising Adam from the dead, as a lover of man.

By Thy will was our body laid bare for us, suffering and buried, and having risen from the dead, Thou dost sing, saying: Confirm Thy Church with Orthodoxy, O Lover of mankind, and make our life to cease, as is meet.

Worthy before Thy unseemly grave, we, unworthy ones, offer Thee, O most glorious, Thy ineffable good will, O Jesus Christ: for Thou didst take death by Thy sinless Incarnation, and didst bestow upon the world life from the dead, as One loving mankind.

O Lord, Thou Who art beyond our comprehension and coessential with Thy Word, Who hast come forth from the unutterable depths of the divine womb, and by Thy will didst overcome death for us through Him who received Thee, and didst raise up in glory, we hymn Thee, saying: Glory to Thee, O Life-giving Spirit, Thou hath saved our souls.

Glory, and honour now: doxographical:

Let us sing with pure hearts the universal glory, which man hath lost and yet again born of the Theotokos, the heavenly door; let us offer to Thee our unbloody song and the confession of faith: for in it is contained the holy temple: having broken down the barrier of enmity, we have brought peace and the kingdom throughout the world. By this faith we are confirmed, O Lord, and Thou art the conqueror of those who were born of the Lord; dare ye, O people of God, to take up this weapon: for He is all-powerful.
