Evening prayer, our Father, receive the holy Lord, and grant to us forgiveness of sins, since Thou alone art from everlasting resurrection in the world.

Blest ye the people of His Son, and forgive him, and give glory in Him who rose from the dead: For He is our God, deliver us from our lawlessness.

Come ye people, let us take and worship Jesus Christ, praising Him and His resurrection from the dead: For He is our God, deliverer from the deceit of this world.

Rejoice in the heavens, O earth, be glad and blossom: for Emmanuel hath borne our sins upon the cross, and giving life, hath slain death, raising Adam from the dead, as a lover of mankind.

By Thy will was our flesh hung upon the Cross, suffering and buried, and Thou didst rise from the dead, O Saviour; therefore we acclaim Thee, saying: Confirm Thy Church by the Orthodox Faith, and make our life in Thee, for Thou art our Goodness and Lover of Mankind.

Worthy before Thy holy sepulcher, standing unworthy, we offer Thee, O most glorious, Thy ineffable goodness, O Lord: For Thou didst take death by Thy sinless hands, and gavest us the gift of resurrection, for Thou art a lover of mankind.

O Lord, Thou Who art beyond our comprehension and coessential with Thy Word, Who hast come forth from the immaculate womb of two-fold nature unspeakably, and by Thy will didst overcome death for us through Him who received Thee, and didst raise up in glory, we hymn Thee, saying: Glory to Thee, O Life-giving Spirit, Thou who hast saved our souls.

Let us sing with pure hearts the universal glory, which man hath lost and yet again born of the Theotokos, the heavenly door; let us offer to her the uncreated song, and find in her a goodly heritage: for she is within our heart, and is the temple of the King. Having broken down the barrier of enmity, she brought peace and the kingdom throughout the world.

By this faith we are strengthened, and the foe who was born not of God is overcome. Be bold, ye faithful children of God; for he shall conquer the enemy, being all-powerful.
