Evening prayer, O Lord, receive our supplication, and grant us forgiveness of sins, for Thou alone art the Resurrection in the world.

O ye people, bless him who is invoked, and one another, and give glory to him who was raised from the dead: For he is our God, deliver us from our iniquities.

Come ye people, let us take and worship Jesus Christ, praising Him and His resurrection from the dead: For He is our God, deliverer from the deceit of this world.

Rejoice in the heavenly, O earth, be glad in the foundation of it, cry out to it joyfully: for Emmanuel hath taken our sin upon the cross, and giving life, hath made death to have no power, raising Adam from the grave, as a lover of man.

By Thy will was our flesh hung upon the Cross, suffering and buried, and Thou didst rise from the dead, O Lover of mankind; therefore we sing: Confirm Thy Church by the Orthodox faith, and make our life holy, for Thou art Good and Lover of man.

Worthy before Thy holy sepulcher, standing unworthy, we offer Thee, O most glorious, Thy ineffable good pleasure, O Lord: for Thou didst take death by Thy sinless hands and gavest life to the world, as a lover of man.

O Lord, Thou Who art both unutterably ineffable in Thy essence and co-existent with the Word, Who hast come forth from the womb of the Virgin twice-divine without utterance, and by Thy will hast overcome death for our sake, and hast risen in glory, we praise Thee, saying: Glory to Thee, O Life-giving Spirit, Thou who hast saved our souls.

Glory, and honour now: doctrine:

Let us sing with unworthy lips the world's glory, O Master, and the door born of Theotokos, heavenly mercy, and find therein a welcome: for it is our sanctuary; having broken down the barrier of enmity, we have brought peace and kingdom to all lands. By this faith, let us strengthen our belief, O Lord, who were not born of flesh. Dare ye, O people of God, to take up this weapon: for He shall overcome the enemy, being almighty.
