Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee! For Thou art life (жизнъ) and through Thee we live; Thou art the Light of our eyes (глазъ) and without Thee we see nothing. Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!

Without beginning, O Source of our life, God and Lord, becoming incarnate from the Virgin, Thou hast darkened to enlighten, gathered what was scattered: therefore with all singing we magnify Thee, O Theotokos.

As hath been planted on the forehead of our face, O Tree precious in Thy sight, which Thou didst command to be blessed with blood and water most sanctified, as from the fount of holiness, Thou didst fashion the ribs of Thine own self, and we being watered thereby, have found life made manifest for us.

Thou hast cast down the mighty, Thou hast loosed the powerful, and that which layeth low in the depths of hell, Thou hast raised up the human nature, upon Thy throne Thou hast set Jesus Christ. With Him, coming to Thee in worship, we glorify Thee.

Blessed be Thou, O Lord, God, in Thy Kingdom, and glory be to Thy Name for ever and ever. Amen.

Believing and glorifying with the Orthodox voice triune unity, indivisibly co-existent: we hymn Thee, O One Life-giving, Threefold Light, Uncreated Dawn, ever-flaming light that hath enlightened us.

And He saith:

O God of God, Word of the Father,

Among the judged, because the Lamb was exalted and lifted up, O Lord, on the crossbeam, on the browplate spear-thrust, pierced in the side, Thou didst give us life, O Lover of Mankind, by Thy finger, as a gift of Thy Goodwill to them that believe in Thee with faith, for Thy holy Resurrection.

Whose death hath vanquished the power of death by His own death, and having made a mockery of it for all them that believe, we bow down to Thee, as one who raised from the ages those dead in sin, and giveth life and resurrection to all.

And He

Irmos: All is desired.

Staff of strength hath been given to nature corruptible, the Word of God in thy womb reading: and this thou hast risen, gone down even unto hell. Wherefore all-blessed art thou, O Theotokos.

Since Thou, O Master, hast deigned to receive the humble handmaiden, Thy mother, into Thy bosom, and all Thy great mercies be fulfilled upon her: that we all may glorify Thee as a most bountiful Giver.
