As of old the three pious youths Orisil were burned in the flames of Chaldean fire, illumined by the bright divine flame and enlightened us, blessed art thou, calling out, O Father of our souls.

Blessed art thou, O God, who in the cross hast revealed the hidden things written in the scriptures, revealing truth to the faithful.

Blessed art Thou, O Comforter, Who by Thy ribs, with drops of Thy life-giving blood, didst create and bless those who are from the earth, and Who, looking down in compunction upon the earth, didst raise up, Blessed art Thou, O Caller of our souls.

Blessed be Thou, O Lord, our God, and the God of our fathers, from everlasting to everlasting.

Blessed art Thou, O Lord, praising Thee with the glory of Thy co-eternal Word, and with the Holy Spirit, the One beginning in Three Persons, and the one Godhead: Blessed art Thou, calling us, O God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And He

Venerable Martyr Gordy.

Not simply doth the sun shine upon the sinner, but when God Incarnate beholdeth, it is darkened. To Him we sing: Blessed art Thou, O Lord, our God and Saviour.

Blessed art thou, O Lord, Father of our spirits, receiving with strong faith the dreadful and eternal gift, given to the righteous souls crying out from afar: Blessed be Thou, God, our Father.

The Theotokos:

Blessed be the treasury of inestimable wealth, O Theotokos, who hast confessed with a pure heart: in thee did God the Word become incarnate for our sake.

And Thee.

This hymn of the same.

Blessed art Thou, O Lord, God of our fathers, with Thy glorious power, and with pure hands bearing: blessed art Thou, O Father, Lady of our souls.

Death, though thou art the destroyer, yet by thy converse with us thou hast slain, O Lord, having put on the double-edged flesh: Blessed art Thou, O Lord, our Venerable Father.

Blessed be Thee, O Theotokos, who didst give birth to God, for Thou alone of all the virgins didst bear Him who was made flesh from Thee: Thy womb is blessed, O Fruit of Thy womb.
