Irimos:
By life alone we are saved,
Through life eternal we are glorified;
For Thou art our Life, O Lord,
And by Thee we are made alive.
Thou art the Life, and they that are in Thee are become the children of life.
Thou art the Life, and they who know Thee are filled with Thy life.
As of old the three pious youths Orosil were burned in the flames of Chaldean fire, illumined by the bright divine fire and glorified, blessed art thou, calling out, O Father of our souls.
Blessed art thou, O God, who revealest in writing the truth to the faithful, and callst us, our Father.
Blessed art Thou, O Comforter, Who through Thy ribs sheddeth life-giving blood, O Source of Life, dropping Thy drops upon the earth, Thou hast created those who are of the earth anew; Blessed art Thou, O Invoker, Who calleth us, O Our Father.
Blessed be Thou, O Lord, our God, and the God of our fathers, from everlasting to everlasting.
Blessed art Thou, O Lord, praising Thee with the glory of Thy co-eternal Word, and with the Holy Spirit, the One beginning in three persons, and the one Godhead: Blessed art Thou, calling us, O God, Father of our souls.
And He
Irámos: Glory to the Mighty Martyr.
Not simply doth the sun shine upon a man who crieth out in distress, but when God Incarnate seeth him, it is darkened. To Him we sing: Blessed art Thou, O Lord, our God and Saviour.
Blessed art thou, O Lord, our Father, for thy mercies endureth for ever:
Thou, O Life unending, giver of life to the righteous in their supplications and visions:
Blessed be Thou, God, our Father.
O Theotokos,
Blessed is the treasure revealed by the pure-hearted one confessing to the Theotokos: in thee was begotten our Lord God and Saviour.
And Thee.
This hymn of that same one.
Blessed art Thou, O Lord, God of our fathers, with Thy holy glory, and with the power that sittest at the right hand; with pure hands Thou bearest us: Blessed art Thou, O Father, our Maker.
Death, though thou art our enemy, by conversing with thee thou didst destroy us: Blessed art Thou, O Lord, the Praised of our fathers.
Blessed be Thee, O Theotokos, who didst give birth to God, even though Thou wast ever a virgin: for Thou didst bear Him who from the Virgin was made incarnate; Thy womb rejoiced in bearing the Unborn.
