O Soul/Spirit, in compunction of heart we cry to Thee:
Thou art the Life, Thou art the Light, Thou art our Guide and our Salvation.
Through Thy ineffable mercy, O Lord, grant us to see Thy glory,
that by beholding it we may be transformed into the same image,
as by the light of the sun a man is changed when he looks upon it.
For Thou art ever the Power and Authority over all creation,
and in Thee we find both our loss and our gain.
Thou art the Spectacle, O Lord, that draws us to Thee;
Thou art the Stranger among us, yet Thou art our most familiar Friend.
Therefore, with humility of heart, we beseech Thee:
Grant us to know Thy will, that we may walk in it,
and to receive Thy mercy, that we may be saved.
For Thou art the Glory and the Righteousness of all who call upon Thee.
As of old the three pious youths Orisil were burning in the flames of Chaldean fire, illumined by the bright divine fire and enlightening us, blessed art thou, crying out, O Father of our souls.
Blessed art thou, O Master, calling us, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed art Thou, O Comforter, Who by Thy ribs sheddeth life-giving blood, O Lord, dropping therefrom upon the earth, Thou hast created them that are of the earth; Blessed art Thou, Who callest, O Spirit, our Father.
Blessed be Thou, O Lord, our God, and glory to Thy Name for ever!
Blessed art Thou, O Lord, who hast called us Thy creatures.

And He
Hymn: O Mighty Martyr.
Not in vain doth the sun shine upon a man who crieth; but when God Incarnate beholdeth, it is darkened. To Him we sing: Blessed art Thou, O Lord, our God and Saviour.
Blessed art thou, O Lord, our Father, for thy mercies endureth for ever:
O Theotokos,
Blessed is the treasury of riches unfolded by thy confession with a pure heart to the Mother of God: in thee hath God the Incarnate One manifested Himself as our Lord.
And Jehovah.
This hymn of the same.
Blessed art thou, O Lord, God of our fathers, who sittest on high with thy holy angels, holding in thine almighty hands: blessed art thou, O Virgin Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Death, though thou art our enemy, by conversing with thee Thou hast slain us, O Lord; for being in the very nature of God: Blessed art Thou, O Lord, our Venerable Father.
Blessed be Thee, O Theotokos, who didst give birth to the One Who was made flesh from the Holy Spirit and through thee didst bring forth: Thou art blessed, O Fruit of thy womb.
