Irimos:
Thou, O Lord, hast created man in Thine own image and after Thy likeness;
and didst give him dominion over all things,
that he might rule them with wisdom and righteousness.
But because of sin, man hath fallen into death,
and the whole creation groaneth and travaileth together in travail.
For Thou, O Lord, art the Life, and without Thee there is no life;
Thou art the Light, and in Thee alone is true light.
Therefore, we pray Thee, O Lord our God:
Grant us to see Thy wondrous works,
and to know Thy mighty power;
that by faith and love we may serve Thee with all our heart.
As of old the three pious youths Orosil were enlightened in the flames of Chaldean fire, by the bright divine Fire and were made radiant, blessed art thou, calling out, O Father of our souls.
Blessed art Thou, O Master, calling us, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed art Thou, O Comforter, Who by Thy ribs sheddeth life-giving blood, O Lord, dropping therefrom upon the earth, Thou hast created those who are of the earth; Blessed art Thou, Who callest us, O Our Father.
Blessed be Thou, O Lord, God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, and of all things visible and invisible, for ever and ever. Amen.
Blessed art Thou, O Lord, glorifying Thee with Thy blessed Theotokos, and with the glory of Thy uncreated Light, in the beginning of our faithful reading, and in the unity of the Three Persons: Blessed art Thou, calling us, O God, the Father of our souls.

And He
Hymn: O Mighty Martyr.
Not simply doth the sun shine upon the sinner, but when God Incarnate looketh upon him, it is darkened. To Him we sing: Blessed art Thou, O Lord, our God and Saviour.
Blessed art thou, O Lord, Father of our spirits, receiving with strong faith the dreadful and immortal gift, which the souls of the righteous cry out for: blessed art thou, God, our Father.
O Theotokos,
Blessed be the treasury of inestimable wealth, O Theotokos, who hast confessed with a pure heart: in thee did God the Word become incarnate for our sake.
And Thee.
This hymn of the same.
Blessed art Thou, O Lord, Master of glory, and seated upon the throne with holy hands we bear Thy divine majesty: Blessed be God, our Father.
Death, though thou art our enemy, by conversing with thee Thou hast destroyed us, O Lord, having taken on Thyself the very flesh of two natures: Blessed art Thou, O Lord, the Father of our spirits.
Blessed be Thee, O Theotokos, who didst give birth to God, even though Thou wast ever a virgin: for Thou didst bear Him who from the womb of thee was made incarnate.
