Irimos:

By life alone we are saved,
And by death we perish;
For life is from Thee, O Lord,
And death Thou hast made for our fall.

Through life we are enlightened,
And through death we are judged;
For life is the gift of Thy mercy,
And death the consequence of sin.

Thou art Life itself, O Lord,
And death hath no power over Thee;
For by Thee we have received life,
And in Thee we shall find rest.

Therefore, let us praise Thee, O Lord,
With compunction of heart and with fear;
For Thou art our Life and our Salvation,
And unto Thee do we lift up our souls.

As of old the three pious youths Orosil were burned in the flames of Chaldean fire, illumined by the bright divine fire and glorified, blessed art thou, calling out, O Father of our souls.

Blessed art thou, O Master, calling us, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed art Thou, O Comforter, Who by Thy ribs, with drops of Thy life-giving blood, didst create those who are from the earth, and blessed art Thou, Who callest us, O Father of our souls.

Blessed be Thou, O Lord, our God, and the God of our fathers, from everlasting to everlasting.

Blessed art Thou, O Lord, glorifying Thee with Thy glorious Theotokos, and with the unity of spirit, in the beginning and end, one in three persons, one Godhead: Blessed art Thou, calling us, O God, our Father.

And He

Virmos: Glory to the Martyr Gordy.

Not in vain doth the sun shine upon a man who crieth; but when God Incarnate beholdeth, it is darkened. To Him we sing: Blessed art Thou, O Lord, our God and Saviour.

Blessed art thou, O Lord, Father of our spirits, receiving with strong faith the dreadful and eternal gift, given to the just souls crying out from afar: Blessed art thou, God, our Father.

The Theotokos:

Blessed be the treasury of inestimable wealth, O Theotokos, who hast confessed with a pure heart Him Who was incarnate for our sake: from thee hath God the Father begotten His Son our Lord.

Andrei.

This hymn of that same one.

Blessed art Thou, O Lord, Master of glory, and with Thy holy hands Thou dost bear us: Thou art the Fount of our Virgin Mother.

Death, though thou art our foe, yet hast Thou destroyed by Thyself, having taken upon Thee the flesh from the Virgin's womb: Blessed art Thou, O Lord, the Praised of our fathers.

Blessed be Thee, O Theotokos, who didst give birth to God, for Thou alone of all women didst bear Him who from the Virgin was made incarnate: Thy womb is blessed, fruit of Thy womb.
