Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee! For Thou art life (жизнь) and we have no life (жизни) without Thee; Thou art always (выну) our light and the removal of our darkness. We have no good things in ourselves, but all things come from Thee, O God, and on Thee do we rely for every good thing. For if we have any good works or righteousness (правда), it is not of ourselves, but a gift (дар) from Thy mercy (милость). Therefore, we praise Thee, O Lord, our God, who hast given us life (жизнь) and breath (дух) and all things. Amen.

In the abyss of sins raging, I invoke the ineffable mercy of Thee, O abyss: from the flame, O God, lift me up.

As sweetly the righteous one was judged and upon the wood was crucified with the lawless, giving up his own gift of blood to those who were entrusted.

By one death man, the first Adam, entered into the world anciently, and by one Resurrection of the Son of God we are justified.

O Theotokos,

Not deceived didst thou bring forth two, and eternal didst thou preserve two, who revealing the truth of God's essence, tookst upon thee the image of thy God.

And He

Irimos:

Thou, O Lord, hast created man in Thine own image and after Thy likeness;
and Thou didst give him dominion over all the works of Thine hands,
that he might have his dwelling on the earth.
But because of sin, man hath fallen away from Thee,
and his heart is estranged from Thee, O Lord.

Thou hast shown us, O Lord, Thy mercy and Thy goodness;
for Thou didst not leave us in our misery,
but didst send forth upon us Thy only-begotten Son,
who is the brightness of Thy glory and the express image of Thy person.
He came down from heaven to earth,
and was born of the holy Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit.

And He suffered and died for our salvation;
and on the third day, Thou didst raise Him from the dead.
Thou hast given us life eternal through His death,
that we might have hope in Thee, O Lord.

Glás glagól mолебныхъ o boléznennye vl̀kо, dušì úslýshav', o lútykh mě̀ izbávi: éédin' bo ésì na'shég'vo spásánię vinóven'.

The abyss and all its treasures were utterly destroyed by death: for death, though rich in riches, consumed with its own power the only treasure of all of us.

And He said.

This hymn of the same.

Man's nature, working in sin, O Lady, through Thy reading, hath found freedom: for thy seed, as an lamb, shall redeem all.

We receive, O Lord, Thy true Theotokos, having grieved Thee, preserve us: for alone dost Thou have boldness to approach the King.
