Irimos:

By life alone we are saved,
And by death we perish;
For life is from Thee, O Lord,
And death Thou hast made for our fall.

Through Thee, O Life-giving One,
We have understanding of life;
And through death, O Death-conquering One,
We have been delivered from the grave.

Thou art the Life, O Lord,
And Thou alone givest life to all;
For by Thee we are created and sustained,
And in Thee we find our true being.

O Life-giving Spirit,
Grant us to know Thee as our Life;
And through Thy grace, O Lord,
May we be saved from the power of death.

Ancient waters, by divine power united and divided into sea and dry land, this God our, highly praised, is such: for in one taking, that He may be glorified.

Who judged the earth, and after sin brought forth thorns and briars, from which came the crown of thorns, by which the Law-breaker was crowned—this God our Judge, bodily taken, broke the curse: Therefore He was glorified.

Conqueror and vanquisher of death, who by thy death didst overcome it, livest: for having received the impassible body, this is our God, and didst fight with the tempter, all ye were raised up: therefore thou hast glorified.

O Theotokos,

Verily all tongues glorify Thee, O Theotokos, without seed being born: for Thou didst enter into the pure womb, O our God, and becamest our God by incarnation, and from Thee, O Woman, man was begotten.

The Second Canon of the Resurrection. Tone 8.

Irmos: Pěsň novúju poimý luďi:

Man's race is enslaved by the tormentor of lust for sin, by the precious blood of the Holy Theotokos He has been defiled and transformed: that He might glorify.

Because death, desiring death, is the guardian of the treasure of life, O Jesus Christ; but Thou, O Immortal One by Thy very nature, hast made the dead alive: therefore, Thou hast glorified.

And in the holy place stood the Theotokos, Gladsome Light.
Přináším třetí píseň ti, Boží Pane!
Airmos toyejze.

Every knee shall bow, both of the heavenly hosts, having been incarnate from Thee, and also the earth-dwellers, being worthy and exceeding in glory: that Thou mayest be glorified.

Be reconciled to Thee, O Lord! For the blessed are without envy in giving; for God, the Spirit, doth abundantly give to us, flesh from Thee we receive as a gift: that we may glorify Thee.
