O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am weak; heal me, Lord, for my bones are troubled.
д҃. И҆ дꙋша̀ моѧ̀ смѧте́сѧ ѕѣлѡ̀: и҆ ты̀, гдⷭ҇и, доко́лѣ;
O Soul, my soul, be tender: and thou, Lord, for ever.
Turn to me, O Lord, and save my soul; deliver me for the sake of your mercy.
ѕ҃. Ꙗ҆́кѡ нѣ́сть въ сме́рти помина́ѧй тебѐ, во а҆́дѣ же кто̀ и҆сповѣ́стсѧ тебѣ̀;
For in death there is no remembrance of You; in Hades who will praise You?
I have labored in my groaning; I wash my bed every night with my tears.
My eye is troubled with anger; I am grown old among all my enemies.
Depart from me, all who practice lawlessness, for the Lord has heard the sound of my weeping.
‹. The Lord heard my supplication; the Lord received my prayer.
May all my enemies be ashamed and dismayed; let them retreat and be greatly humiliated speedily.
Glory:
Alas, two-fold, of whom the Lord God is sung by the holy hymns of the Church, Son begotten, be Thy praise. Amen.
O Lord my God, in Thee have I put my trust; save me from all those who persecute me, and deliver me.
Lest he snatch away my soul as a lion, without one to redeem or save me.
Lord, my God, even though I have done this, even though there is unrighteousness in my hand,
If I have repaid evil for evil, may evil fall void from my enemies.
Let my enemy pursue my soul and seize it, and trample my life into the ground, and my glory into dust.
Arise, Lord, in your anger; lift yourself up against the ranks of my enemies; arise, Lord, my God, in the command with which you have commanded.
The assembly of nations shall surround you, and you shall turn to the heights above them.
Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and according to my innocence.
‹. Let the wickedness of sinners be ended, and direct the righteous, testing hearts and reins, O God.
Righteous is my help from God, who saves the upright in heart.
God is a righteous judge, strong and long-suffering, not bringing wrath every day.
Unless you turn back your sword, he will sharpen your bow and prepare it.
And in him he prepared vessels of death; his arrows he made ready for those who burn.
Behold, injustice conceived pain and brought forth lawlessness.
He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, and has fallen into the pit he made.
His pain will return to his head, and his injustice will descend upon his head.
I will confess to the Lord according to His righteousness, and I will sing to the name of the Lord Most High.
