At the end, having been changed, let us rejoice in double joy, … and.
Save me, O God, for the waters have reached even to my soul.
I am wearied in the deep waters; there is no rest: I have come to the depths of the sea, and a tempest has overwhelmed me.
I cried with a loud voice; my throat was parched; my eyes failed for hope in God.
More than the hairs of my head are those who hate me; my enemies, those who drive me away unjustly, then they seized what I did not snatch.
O Lord God of hosts, thou hast known my folly and my transgressions have not been hidden from thee.

Because for your sake, O Lord of powers, they do not blush who wait upon you; nor those who seek you, O God of Israel.
Because for thy sake I endured reproach, the shamefulness covered my face.
I became estranged from my brothers and a stranger to the sons of my mother.
‹. Because the zeal of thy house hath consumed me, and the reproaches of them that reproached thee fell upon me.
I covered my soul with fasting, and it became a reproach to me.
And I clothed myself with sackcloth, and became to them a parable.
But as for me, those sitting by the gate mocked at me, and they played the flute for wine in my presence.
Deliver me in accordance with the time of Thy good pleasure, O Lord; in the multitude of Thy mercy hear my prayer in truth of Thy salvation.
Save me from the flood that I may not be overwhelmed; from those who hate me and from the depths of the waters.
Hear me, O Lord, for Thy mercy is great; turn unto me according to the multitude of Thy steadfast love.
Hearken to me, Lord, for thy mercy is precious and great; look upon me with thy abundant compassion.
Do not turn thy face from thy servant, for I am sorely troubled; hearken to me quickly.
Hast thou not held my soul in thy hand, and ransomed it for the sake of thy enemies? Deliver me, O Lord!
For thou dost know the reproach that is cast upon me, and my shame, and my entreaty before thee; all who trouble me.
My soul waited for reproach and sorrow, and I endured grief, and there was none to comfort me.
And they gave me vinegar to drink instead of my desire for water.
Let their table become a snare, a trap, and a stumbling block before them.
Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and their back be ever bowed.
Let thy wrath and thy fierce anger pursue them and overtake them.
Let their habitation be made desolate, and let none dwell in their tents.
That which thou hast smitten, they have pursued; upon the pain of thy wounds, they have added.
Let them have more sin upon their sin, that they enter not into thy righteousness.
Let the writing be blotted out of the book of lives, and with justice let it not be recorded.
I am poor and in sorrow; thou, O God, art my salvation, and hast taken me into thy presence.

And it shall please the Lord more than an ox, that hath horns and hoofs.
Let the poor behold it and be glad; seek the Lord, and your soul shall live.
That the Lord hearkened to the poor, and the strangers He did not despise.
Let the heavens and the earth with all that therein is praise Him.
That God will save Zion, and the cities of Judah shall be built; and they who love His name shall dwell therein and inherit it.
And the seed of his servants shall possess it, and they that love his name shall dwell in her.

Let them be confounded and put to shame who seek my soul to destroy; let them turn back in confusion and be put to shame who wish me evil.
Let those who speak well of me quickly be ashamed and confounded.
Let all who seek thee be glad and rejoice in thee; let them say at all times, "May God be magnified by them that love thy salvation.
I, being poor and needy, O Lord, hasten to help me; thou art my helper and protector, O Lord, do not delay.
