The blessed servant and warrior of the All-merciful God and King appeared to John the wonderworker: having suffered courageously for the sake of faith, having blissfully ended the course, you see the All-Creator Lord in the heavens most brightly, from whom you receive the granting of miracles, you help the suffering person in all kinds of adversities: you strengthen the warriors in battles: from the enemies of captivity, wounds and you take away sudden deaths and severe misfortunes. In the same way, pray to the Lord Christ, of all times, that he may show us mercy in every situation and not lead us into temptation, but save our souls, as a lover of mankind.
