O all-validated, holy great martyr and wonderworker John the Warrior! Pray with us and for us, the Lover of Mankind, God, may He not condemn us for our iniquity, but may He deal with us according to His great mercy. Ask us from Christ our God for a quiet and godly life, health and good haste in everything, fertility of the earth, abundance in everything and everything needed for salvation and temporary life. O holy passion-bearer John! Falling before your honorable icon and bowing to you, we pray to you: reveal your powerful intercession to all who are in adversity, sorrow and illness, and deliver us from all evil and from the offending person. Pray to the All-Bountiful Trinitarian God, that He may grant our most pious sovereign victory over his adversaries, and may his kingdom be strengthened and blessed with unchangeable peace and prosperity, for with your help and strong struggle all those who show us evil will be put to shame. Protect us with your holy prayers all the days of our life.
Pray to the Merciful Master of all, that he may grant us a Christian end to our life that is painless, shameless, peaceful, and that I may participate in the Divine Mysteries: after our departure from this life, may the holy Angel protect us with a militia, so that we may be delivered from the wiles of the devil and his heavy airy ordeals, and present ourselves uncondemned to the throne of the Lord Glory, and glorify him with all the saints in His Heavenly Kingdom forever and ever.
