O Soul/Spirit of Mine, the Lord hath sweetened me with love of Thee, and changed me by Thy divine will: but I fell into the fire of spiritual sin, and Thou hast given me to partake of the enjoyment which is in Thee, that I may glorify Thee more greatly, coming to Thy presence. In the light of Thy holy countenance, as an unworthy one, I dare to enter; for though it be a place where I am reproved, as not being married and having been cast out from among the angels: cleanse Thou my heart, O Sinner, and save me, as One who loveth mankind.
