Come, faithful ones, let us do the works of God in the light, as we walk honorably in the days: let us take away all unrighteousness from our neighbor, not putting this as a stumbling block: let us leave lust for the flesh, increase the talents of our souls, give bread to those who need it, and come to Christ in repentance crying out: Our God, have mercy on us. Come, believers, let us do the works of God in the light, let us walk decently, as in the day; Let us throw away any unfair accusation against our neighbor, without turning the difficulty into tempting him; let us abandon the pleasures of the flesh, multiply the gracious gifts of the soul, let us give bread to the needy, and come to Christ with repentance, crying out: Our God, have mercy on us.
