Hear, O God, my voice, always pray to You, take away my soul from the fear of the enemy. Cover me from the multitude of evildoers, from the multitude of those who do lies. He who has sharpened his tongues like a sword, who has strained his bow, a bitter thing, shoots in the secret places without blemish; they will suddenly shoot him and will not be afraid. Having confirmed to yourself the word of the evil one, you told them to hide the snare, deciding: who will see them? Having experienced lawlessness, the disappearance of the testing trials, man will approach, and the heart will be deep, and God will be exalted. The arrows came upon the child, and their tongues fell upon her. All who saw them were troubled, and every man was afraid, and declared the works of God, and understood His creation. The righteous will rejoice in the Lord and trust in Him, and all the rulers will boast in their hearts.

Reader: Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, glory to you God. (Thrice)

Lord, have mercy. (Three times).
