Thinking on the dread day, I weep for my lawless deeds: how shall I appear before the immortal King; and with what boldness shall I look upon the wayward one, O Merciful Mother? My Soul, be comforted.
Glory: In Thy compunction, O Soul/Spirit, in the place where Thou didst bequeath Me, when Thou satest on high, to make a righteous judgment, neither reveal My hidden things nor shame me before the angels: but have mercy upon me, Theotokos.
And now: O Venerable Theotokos, Queen of the world, intercede for us with thy divine and merciful intercession, as thou didst bear the most loving God, that our souls may be delivered from every kind of calamity.
Blessed alone.
O Lord, have mercy, and grant peace:
O Master, God, Thou Healer of my soul that is not sick, and this healing Thou knowest, and Thou healest Thee, as for the sake of many mercies of Thine hast stretched forth Thy right hand: for there is no plaster to apply to me from my works, nor oil, nor bandage.
But Thou, having come not to justify the righteous, but to call sinners to repentance, have mercy on me, shed, forgive them, tear up the writings of many of my and my students' deeds, and guide me onto Thy right way, that walking in Thy truth I may avoid the arrows of the crafty one, and thus.
Stand not condemned before the dreadful Judgment Seat of Thy Majesty, praising and singing Thy holy throne for evermore, Amen.
