Thinking upon the dread day, I weep for my lawless deeds: how shall I appear before the immortal King; and with what boldness shall I look upon the wayward one who is me? O Merciful Mother, Ever-begotten, have mercy on me.
Glory: In the Spirit's tenderness, on the place where Thou didst bequeath Thyself, when Thou satest in the heavens, to make a righteous judgment, neither reveal my hidden sins, nor shame me before the angels: but have mercy on me, O Theotokos.
Now: O Venerable Theotokos, Queen of the world, intercede for us with thy divine and merciful Son, Jesus Christ, who loved mankind most of all. May our souls be delivered from every kind of calamity, through thy holy and close companions, to whom thou didst give birth.
Blessed alone.
O Lord, have mercy, and grant peace:
O Master, God, Thou Healer of my soul that is not sick, and this healing Thou knowest, and heal thee, as for the sake of many of Thy mercies: for there is no plaster to apply to my wounds, nor oil, nor bandage.
But Thou, having come not to justify the righteous, but to call sinners to repentance, have mercy on me, forgive me, and blot out the handwriting of many of my own and students' deeds. And guide me on Thy right path, that walking in Thy truth I may avoid the arrows of the deceitful one, and thus.
Stand not condemned before the dreadful judgment seat of Thy glory, praising and singing Thy throne, O Lord, for ever and ever. Amen.
