Vizmirennuuyu moyu dušu posetì gddyi, vo grěsěkh vse zhitië iždǐvshuyu: imye obrazom bludnicy prjimì i men'e, i sparsì mya.

Glory: Swiftly shall we meet in the Bridechamber of Christ, that all may hear the blessed voice of our Lord God: Come ye, who love the heavenly glory, having partaken of the wisdom of the wise virgins, enlightening our faith with our candles.

O Soul, now: Before thy going forth, repentance is a judge unmeasured to the sinful, and insupportable; cry aloud to the Lord with compunction of heart: I have sinned knowingly and unknowingly, O Merciful, receive me by Thy mercies, and save me.

O Lord, have mercy, and grant peace:

Thee, O Lord, God and Good, and Unmeasurable, I confess my sins unto Thee, unworthy as I am: I have sinned, and I am not meet to look upon the height of Thy heavenly glory because of the multitude of my unrighteousness. But Thou, O Lord, my Lord, grant me.

Tears of compunction, O nearest and most merciful, by them I beseech Thee, that Thou mayest cleanse me before the end from all sin: for it is fearful and terrible the place where they go, bodies being separated, and a multitude of my dark and inhuman demons will meet; and none shall be with me as helper.

And rescuing. By this I cleave to Thy holiness, do not deliver up him who assails me, lest they praise themselves against me in the presence of Thy blessedness, and say: Into our hands hath He come, and is delivered up to us. Remember thee, O Lord, for Thy mercies' sake, and let not my cause be judged according to my sinlessness.

Mine, and let not Thy face depart from me, but Thou, O Lord, chasten me with Thy mercies and tenderheartedness. Let my enemy rejoice over me nor exalt himself against me, but quench his wrath upon me, and make void all his devices, and give me an uncorrupted way, good before Thee: for thou art the Lord my God.

And having sinned, I did not flee to another physician, nor stretched out my hand to a strange God. Do not reject my supplications, but hear me with Thy blessedness, and establish my heart in Thy fear, that Thy mercy may be upon me, O Lord, for the unclean fire hath fallen upon me.

In me are thoughts. Thou art, O Lord, above all light: brighter than all brightness; sweeter than all joys, the peace that passeth all understanding: true life and salvation, abiding for evermore, Amen.
