Because the deep waters have overwhelmed many of my sins, and the depths have bowed down to my transgressions: stretch forth Thy hand, O Lord, and save me, Theotokos, and have mercy on me.
Glory: As the thoughts of wise men, and their works have judged rightly, grant me, O Good Lord, a turned mind, that I may call upon Thee: Save me, O Good Lord, and have mercy on me.
And now: O Virgin Theotokos, pure and beyond reproach, thou who art a stain and defiled by the deeds of bodiless and wicked thoughts, cleanse me, made pure and reading all things, wholly without stain.
O Lord, have mercy, and grant peace:
O Master, Jesus Christ, Thee do I beseech, Thou art my Helper; in Thy hands am I, help me, and do not forsake me to sin against Thee, for I have been deceived. Forsake me not after my flesh: for I am weak. Thou art mighty.
profitable to me, do not abandon me to perish by my sins: do not abandon me to the Lord, do not depart from me, for to thee I have fled, teach me to do thy will, for thou art my God. Heal my soul, for I have sinned against thee, save me through thy mercy, for before thee.
All ye heavens are my refuge and strength: and there is none else beside Thee. Let them be confounded and put to shame that rise up against me; let them be taken in their desire, seeking my soul. For Thou art the Holy Lord God, the King of Israel; Thou alone art exalted in Thy might. As Thou hast been sanctified by Thy Name, O Jesus Christ, our Lord and Theotokos, and Thy Holy Spirit, so may they be confounded who rise up against me, seeking my soul to destroy it: for Thou alone art mighty, O Lord God, the King of all; and Thy glory is for ever and ever. Amen.
