Yirmos: Receiving the command, the angel sang with the venerable youth / while the Chaldees were being smitten by the command of God / to proclaim: Blessed be Thou, O Theotokos, our Mother.

Не надѣ́йсѧ, дꙋшѐ моѧ̀, на тлѣ́нное бога́тство, и҆ на непра́ведное собра́нїе, всѧ̑ бо сїѧ̑ не вѣ́си комꙋ̀ ѡ҆ста́виши, но возопі́й: поми́лꙋй мѧ̀, хрⷭ҇тѐ бж҃е, недосто́йнаго.
O Soul of mine, do not trust in corrupt wealth, nor in unjust gathering; for all these things thou hast not laid up with any one, but cry: Have mercy on me, O Lord Jesus Christ, the unworthy.

Response: Have mercy on me, O Lord, have mercy on me.
Не ѹ҆пова́й, дꙋшѐ моѧ̀, на тѣле́сное здра́вїе, и҆ на скоромимоходѧ́щꙋю красотꙋ̀: ви́диши бо, ꙗ҆́кѡ си́льнїи и҆ младі́и ѹ҆мира́ютъ, но возопі́й: поми́лꙋй мѧ̀, хрⷭ҇тѐ бж҃е, недосто́йнаго.
Do not trust, O Soul of mine, in bodily health and in fleeting beauty; for thou seest how the strong and the young die: but cry out: Have mercy on me, O Jesus Christ, unworthy as I am.

Воспомѧнѝ, дꙋшѐ моѧ̀, вѣ́чное житїѐ, црⷭ҇тво нбⷭ҇ное, ѹ҆гото́ванное ст҃ы̑мъ, и҆ тьмꙋ̀ кромѣ́шнюю, и҆ гнѣ́въ бж҃їй ѕлы̑мъ, и҆ возопі́й: поми́лꙋй мѧ̀, хрⷭ҇тѐ бж҃е, недосто́йнаго.
O Soul of mine, remember the eternal life, the heavenly glory prepared for thee, and the darkness without end, and the wrath of God against thee, and cry: Have mercy on me, O Lord, a sinful one.

Refrain: Having lifted up the Theotokos, save us.
Припадѝ, дꙋшѐ моѧ̀, къ бж҃їей мт҃ри, и҆ помоли́сѧ то́й, є҆́сть бо ско́раѧ помо́щница ка́ющымсѧ, ѹ҆мо́литъ сн҃а хрⷭ҇та̀ бг҃а, и҆ поми́лꙋетъ мѧ̀ недосто́йнаго.
O Soul of mine, incline to the holy Mother, and pray for me, for she is a speedy helper of those who repent, beseeching Jesus Christ on my behalf and granting me mercy.
