Yirmós: On the stones of faith I have been made firm, and Thou hast enlarged my lips against my enemies. For joy hath my soul arisen, when I said: There is none like unto God our King, nor any who is brought forth before Him.

Pripev: Pure heart fashion in me, O Lord, and renew my spirit within my womb. Thy tears give to me drops of cleansing; that I may be cleansed by a good conscience, coming with faith and fear before Thee at the receiving of Thy divine gifts.

Pripev: Do not forsake me from Thy face, and give to me Thy strength not to depart from me. In abstinence let there be for me a greater penitence of my corrupt body and blood; that I may have communion generally, and life eternal, O Lover of mankind, and separation from passions and sorrows.

Pripev: Venerable Theotokos, save us. Table of the living bread is broken, above the meal for those who came down, and a new world-giving life doth give, and now I am made worthy unworthy to taste this, and to live.
