Yrmos: In the abyss of sins most deep, calling upon the unsearchable mercy of Thee, O depth: from the fire of Thy wrath lift me up.
Припѣ́въ: Се́рдце чи́сто сози́жди во мнѣ̀ бж҃е, и҆ дꙋ́хъ пра́въ ѡ҆бновѝ во ѹ҆тро́бѣ мое́й. Ќмъ, дꙋ́шꙋ и҆ се́рдце ѡ҆ст҃ѝ сп҃се, и҆ тѣ́ло моѐ, и҆ сподо́би неѡсꙋжде́ннѡ влⷣко къ стра̑шнымъ та́йнамъ пристꙋпи́ти. Припѣ́въ: Не ѿве́ржи менє̀ ѿ лица̀ твоегѡ̀, и҆ д¦а твоегѡ̀ ст҃а́гѡ не ѿимѝ ѿ менє̀. Да бы́хъ ѹ҆страни́лсѧ ѿ страсте́й, и҆ твоеѧ̀ бл҃года́ти и҆мѣ́лъ бы приложе́нїе, живота́ же ѹ҆тверже́нїе, причаще́нїемъ ст҃ы́хъ хрⷭ҇тѐ та̑инъ твои́хъ. Припѣ́въ: Прест҃а́ѧ бцⷣе, сп҃сѝ на́съ. Бж҃їе бж҃е сло́во ст҃о́е, всего́ мѧ ѡ҆ст҃ѝ, ны́нѣ приходѧ́щаго къ бжⷭ҇твєннымъ твои̑мъ та́йнамъ, ст҃ы́ѧ мт҃ре твоеѧ̀ мольба́ми.
Pрипев: Pure heart fashion in me, O God, and renew my spirit in the womb of my flesh. By it, cleanse my soul and heart, and my body, that I may be worthy to approach without blemish Thy Master for the awful mysteries. Припев: Do not forsake me from Thy face, and give Thy strength not to depart from me. That I may be separated from passions, and have Thy mercy in abundance, and firmness of life by partaking of Thy holy mysteries. Припев: O Theotokos, save us. God's word is strong, it wholly cleanses me now approaching Thy divine mysteries through the intercessions of thy holy prayers.
