Yrmos: O Giver of Light and Creator through the ages, in the light of Thy commandments guide us: for indeed, but one God do we know not fully.

Мр҃і́е мт҃и бж҃їѧ, бл҃гоꙋха́нїѧ чⷭ҇тно́е селе́нїе, твои́ми мл҃твами сосꙋ́дъ мѧ̀ и҆збра́нный содѣ́лай, ꙗ҆́кѡ да ѡ҆сщ҃е́нїй причащꙋ́сѧ сн҃а твоегѡ̀.
Pripev: Chistoye serdtsenko sozhdyi vo meni, i duh pravyi obnovi vo trobe moyey. Kakozhe predreklъ Ese ti Khriste, da bydet ubo khudomu rabu tvoemu, i v meni prebydi, kakozhe obezhalasъ Ese: se bo telo tvoe kamъ bzhietvennoye, i piyu krovь tvoю.
Pripev: Ne overji meni ot litsa tvoego, i da tvoego stara glava ne oimy ot meni. Slove bzhijey i bzhе, ugль tela tvoego da bydet meni pomrachennomu v prosvesheniye, i ochishcheniye okskvernennoy dushi moyey krovь tvъya.
Pripev: Prestaъe Theotokе, spasъ nas. Mriye mtai bzhijanye, blagoukhanoye selene, tvoimi molvami sosud mena izbranny sodelaj, kakъ da ossheniy pricahsusya snas tvoego.
Translation:
Chaste heart create in me, and the right spirit renew in my womb. As thou didst foretell, that it shall be good for the servant of thee, and abide within me, as thou didst promise: for indeed thy body is a living temple, and I drink thy blood.
Pripev: Do not forsake me from thy face, and give thy gray head not to me. Words of thy mouth and spirit, O fire of thy body, let it be darkened in my enlightenment, and the cleansing of my defiled soul by thy blood.
Pripev: Desist, Theotokos, save us. Our prayers, holy light, the blessed offering, through thy prayers make me chosen vessel, that I may partake again of thee.
